The Swarming Locusts SMS Campaign (“Campaign”) is an interactive narrative service operated by Spacebar Labs LLC (“we,” “our,” “Service Provider”).

2. Information We Collect

• Content of inbound / outbound messages
• Timestamps and delivery metadata

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data above only to:

1. Deliver mission updates, intelligence drops, and other Alternate Reality Game (ARG) content;
2. Respond to HELP/STOP requests and other customer‑care inquiries; and
3. Meet carrier, security, and legal compliance requirements.

We never sell, rent, or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Service Providers

We employ trusted subprocessors—primarily Twilio, Inc.—to transmit SMS messages. These providers act solely on our instructions and adhere to strict security and confidentiality obligations.

5. Message & Data Rates

Standard carrier text‑messaging rates may apply. You are responsible for any fees billed by your mobile provider.

6. Opt‑In, Opt‑Out & Help

• Opt in → Text SWARM to +1 (415) 549‑1466 and reply YES to confirm.
• Opt out → Text STOP at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further texts.
• Help → Text HELP or email hello@spacebarlabs.io.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain SMS logs only for the life of the Campaign or as required by law. To request deletion, email hello@spacebarlabs.io from the same number you used to enroll.

8. Children’s Privacy

This Campaign is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or service features. Updated versions will be posted here with a new “Effective” date. Continued participation after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
